Grants & Loans Approved

How about a little bit of good news? USDA Rural Development has approved our application for a loan of $821,000 and a grant of $965,000 that will be used to make improvements to the water system in Belview. The loan portion terms are 40 years at 2%. Additional funding for the first phase of this project will be coming from Minnesota's Public Facilities Authority once our MN Legislature approves the bonding bill. We must be clear that without the bonding bill being passed, the project cannot move forward at this time. The amount we are set to receive from PFA is a grant in the amount of $1,750,000.00.
